Drawn to scale, not to demo.
Axis publishes the actual median, p95, and p99 for every region every minute. The map updates if a region degrades. The page you read is the data your service hits.
Axis is the global hosting platform engineered with the precision of a topographic survey — published latencies, audited residency, predictable invoices.
Each panel reads from the same telemetry the runtime publishes. The motion is the data.
Axis is opinionated about what a hosting layer should own. Latency, residency, deploy speed, observability — drawn at 1:1.

Quote a customer and pin their data to Frankfurt. Axis enforces residency at the routing layer — no lambda hop, no shadow copy, no exception.
Axis maintains a warm pool per region. New deploys swap in atomically — the user sees the next response, not the boot.
Latency, error rate, regional skew. The chart is opinionated about what matters; the chart is the dashboard.
We benchmarked the same Node service on Axis and on a typical Lambda + ALB + CloudFront stack. Here is what changed.
“We replaced a four-vendor stack with Axis on a Saturday. The first incident report we wrote afterward was about how quiet our Slack got.”
You pay for the regions you keep on. There is no per-invocation fee, no inter-region egress, no per-row hidden cost.
A region is a physical pop with at least three independent power feeds, a dedicated network entry point, and a published latitude / longitude. We do not relabel availability zones as regions.
No. Traffic between Axis regions on the Axis backbone is free on every paid tier. Egress to the public internet is metered per region with public per-GB rates.
At the routing layer. Each request is matched to a residency policy before any service code runs. Misrouted requests are rejected at the edge with an audit log entry, not silently relayed.
Yes. Axis accepts WASM modules, OCI containers, and a managed Bun + Node 22 runtime. Anything that responds on a port can be promoted to an edge service in one CLI invocation.
SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and HIPAA (BAA on Cartograph). EU residency is enforced via Frankfurt + Zürich; US via Toronto + dedicated US east/west on the Cartograph tier.
